Sacred Heart is one of many WA Catholic Schools that utilises the services of a qualified and experience Social Worker.
Our school Social Worker, Hilary Campos works closely and collaboratively with the staff, parents and school community to provide the best educational experience for all students. We have access to Hilary one day a week.
The service is school-based, and we consider our Social Worker to be part of our educational team.
Hilary assists teachers with classroom initiatives counselling and support to help students and families deal with social or emotional problems relating school or home life. Hilary also works with teachers to assist them in their classroom programs and facilitates whole class and small group work sessions.
